Di’s Asparagus

Spring is upon us!  I love Spring in Florida and I welcome it with open arms. When it comes to Spring time vegetables, I think of asparagus. This is one of my favorite asparagus dishes that I like make using my smaller Pampered Chef rectangular stone to bake it in but you can use whatever baking dish you have on hand.  Whatever you use it’s still an easy yummy dish to make.

Di’s Asparagus

1 bunch of Asparagus

1 garlic clove minced

1 tbl of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

2 tsp Spike seasoning (in the spice aisle or natural food aisle)

Juice of a 1/4 of a lemon

asparagus

Cut woody parts of the asparagus and discard. Place rinsed asparagus into large ziploc plastic bag along with the other ingredients. Close and seal bag and rub the items inside the bag to mix ingredients thoroughly. Place marinated asparagus onto stone or other baking dish  and cook at 350′ for 15-20 min or until desired tenderness. Enjoy!
